Location & Surroundings

The university’s registered address and Omori Campus are in Ota City, Tokyo. Medicine and Nursing study there beside Toho University Medical Center Omori Hospital. The official directions place Keikyu Umeyashiki Station about six minutes away on foot and JR or Tokyu Kamata about 15 minutes away on foot. Tokyo International Airport is listed as approximately 20 minutes away by taxi. Narashino Campus is actually in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, despite its campus name. It accommodates Pharmaceutical Sciences, Science, and Health Science. Official directions place it about ten minutes on foot from Keisei Okubo Station or ten minutes by bus from JR Tsudanuma Station; Narita Airport is listed as approximately 45 minutes away by train. Applicants should base commuting and housing decisions on their faculty’s campus. Travel between Omori and Narashino crosses the Tokyo–Chiba metropolitan area, so the two locations are not interchangeable for everyday planning. Both provide access to central Tokyo, but Omori offers the denser urban and hospital-centered environment, while Narashino provides a larger collection of outdoor sports and specialist science facilities.

Costs & Career Outcomes

The official fee page currently labels its figures for students entering in 2026. First-year institutional charges, before separately collected insurance, association, student-government, alumni, or practical-training amounts, are listed as JPY 4,800,000 for Medicine, JPY 2,230,000 for Pharmaceutical Sciences, JPY 1,632,000 for Science, and JPY 2,200,000 for Nursing. These are not universal tuition figures and should not be transferred between faculties. The university also lists substantial additional collections, particularly for Medicine, and notes different annual charges after the first year.
