Student Life & Environment

Student life differs across MGA’s five campuses, so the scale and type of involvement available depend on where a student studies. The Office of Student Life coordinates activities and engagement across the institution and directs students to MGA Knight Life for organizations and events. The broader Student Affairs division includes athletics, accessibility services, counseling, health services, housing, recreation and wellness, student conduct and care, testing, and career and leadership development. Residential life is available in Cochran, Macon, and Eastman rather than at every campus. Cochran has the largest selection of residence halls and presents the most traditional residential setting, with dining, recreation facilities, athletics, and student organizations. Macon housing includes facilities designated by class standing, while Eastman offers aviation-oriented residential accommodation. MGA entered provisional NCAA Division II membership in July 2025 and competes in the Peach Belt Conference during its transition. Athletics are centered mainly in Cochran. Location & Surroundings

MGA’s institutional address is on University Parkway in Macon, Georgia, but the university is best understood as a regional network. Its campuses are in Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins. The official campus page characterizes these settings as ranging from urban to medium and smaller cities, so the surroundings, transportation needs, and residential experience vary considerably. The Macon campus lies just off Interstate 475 and serves as the institutional base. Cochran, near Interstate 16, has a more traditional campus appearance and houses much of the university’s residential and athletic life. Dublin extends access into Laurens County. Eastman is the base for the School of Aviation, while Warner Robins is about half a mile from Robins Air Force Base. MGA also identifies a flight facility at Macon Downtown Airport. Students should evaluate location at the program level rather than choosing solely on the university’s Macon listing. A preferred major may be based at one campus, offered only as a transfer pathway elsewhere, or available online. Housing is not available at Dublin or Warner Robins, making commuting or private accommodation an important consideration for students studying there.

MGA publishes tuition by credit hour and separates on-campus or partially online study from fully online enrollment. The latest tuition table located during this research applies only to fall 2025, spring 2026, and summer 2026. It lists in-state undergraduate tuition of $174 per credit before mandatory fees and shows $3,041 in tuition and listed mandatory fees for a 15-credit on-campus semester. Those figures should not be treated as confirmed fall 2026 prices: MGA states that charges can change, and applicants should request the 2026–2027 schedule before making a financial decision. Out-of-state tuition, program fees, books, transportation, aviation costs, insurance, and personal expenses can materially increase the total. Official 2026–2027 housing rates are available. Semester prices range from $2,880 for a double room in Anderson Hall at Cochran to $4,360 for single-occupancy options at University Pointe in Macon or Aviation Hall in Eastman. A $25 semester programming activity fee applies, and the 2026–2027 housing application requires a $160 nonrefundable fee, refundable if MGA cannot accommodate the request.
