Student Life & Environment

Student life is centered mainly on the Komandorska Street campus in Wrocław. The university lists student government, student organizations and scientific clubs as routes into events, peer networks and subject-focused activities. Scientific clubs provide an especially relevant option for students who want to develop research interests or connect classroom topics with conferences, publications and professional practice. Sports provision is also promoted through university sports activities and access to facilities such as a pool or gym. Two university residences, Ślężak and Przegubowiec, are situated near the campus. Both advertise single and double accommodation. Przegubowiec includes rooms with a bathroom and kitchenette, while Ślężak uses module bathrooms and floor kitchens. Shared amenities vary by building and include study or television rooms, laundries, bicycle storage and, at Ślężak, a gym. Housing is allocated through an application process; availability is not guaranteed, so students should check current deadlines and fees rather than assuming a place accompanies admission. The Career Office also contributes to student support. Location & Surroundings

The main university address is 118/120 Komandorska Street in Wrocław, the capital of Poland’s Lower Silesian region. The campus setting brings the university’s principal teaching units, services and student residences into the same part of the city. The nearby Ślężak and Przegubowiec residences reduce the need for a cross-city commute for students who secure a room. Wrocław offers the scale and amenities of a major regional center, including cultural venues, parks, sports facilities and an extensive student community. For business-focused students, studying in a large economic center can also make employer events, internships and part-time work more accessible, although the university does not guarantee employment or placements. Applicants should budget for urban living and investigate transport from any private accommodation before committing to a lease. The university also operates a branch in Jelenia Góra, a separate Lower Silesian city. Programs and services associated with that branch should not be assumed to be available at the Wrocław campus, or vice versa. Candidates should confirm the teaching location in the official recruitment listing because campus choice affects daily travel, housing and access to activities.

Costs & Career Outcomes

For 2026/2027, the university lists a non-refundable application fee of PLN 85 for each selected program. Foreign students who do not qualify for a statutory exemption are charged PLN 6,630 per semester for Polish-taught bachelor’s or master’s study and PLN 7,770 per semester for English-taught study, whether full-time or part-time. The university lists different rates for EU, EFTA and Swiss citizens and qualifying family members: English-taught full-time bachelor’s programs are PLN 3,410 per semester, while the listed full-time English master’s programs in Business Management and Finance are also PLN 3,410 per semester. Part-time rates differ. Eligibility under Polish law materially changes tuition, so applicants should obtain an individual assessment rather than applying the headline international rate automatically. Accommodation is an additional cost. The university provides two nearby residences but directs students to separate current fee regulations and an application timetable. A residence place is not automatic.
