Student Life & Environment

Student support is centered partly on the bilingual French-English Welcome Desk in the Île-de-France building on the central campus. The main university campus is in Évry-Courcouronnes, in the Essonne department of the Île-de-France region. Its central buildings sit within the city rather than on an isolated residential campus. The university states that the site is approximately 150 metres from the railway station, bus station, city hall and cathedral, putting teaching facilities close to public transport and everyday urban services. The central campus can be reached through Évry-Courcouronnes Centre station on RER D. Tram T12 also serves the Mairie-Université stop, and local and regional buses connect the area with surrounding communities. The main administrative and Welcome Desk address is 23 Boulevard François Mitterrand. The university library and several teaching buildings occupy nearby addresses. Not all teaching takes place at this central cluster. Official campus information also lists the Pelvoux building, IUT facilities and sites in Brétigny-sur-Orge and Juvisy-sur-Orge. Applicants should therefore check the precise teaching location on their program information before choosing housing or estimating a commute. Access from Paris is possible by regional rail, but travel time and transfers depend on the departure point and assigned site.

Costs & Career Outcomes

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the university published national-degree registration charges of €178 for licence study and €255 for master’s study. It separately listed differentiated fees of €2,902 for first-time non-EU international students entering the first year of a national first-cycle degree. That differentiated amount should not be generalized to every international student or every study level. Program-specific, continuing-education and other charges may follow separate rules. The compulsory student-life contribution, CVEC, is additional where applicable and is not included in the university’s fee-exemption decisions.
