TH Wildau is located at Hochschulring 1 in Wildau, a smaller Brandenburg town just southeast of Berlin. The campus is immediately beside Wildau S-Bahn station. The university’s current directions identify the S46 toward Königs Wusterhausen as the direct connection from Berlin; travelers should check the live VBB timetable because routes and service patterns can change. This setting creates a practical trade-off. Students can live and study in a quieter, compact environment while reaching Berlin for cultural activities, internships and employment. However, anyone planning frequent late-night travel or daily commitments in central Berlin should compare actual door-to-door journey times rather than treating Wildau as an inner-city campus. Wildau is also close to Königs Wusterhausen and only a few kilometres from Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Drivers can approach via the A10 Berliner Ring and B179, although a car is not essential for reaching campus. Nearby waterways, green areas and cycling routes support outdoor recreation, while Berlin provides the broader metropolitan range of museums, events and employers. On-campus and nearby residences can minimize the daily commute, but demand is highest around the start of the winter semester.

Costs & Career Outcomes

TH Wildau states that its regular degree programmes generally charge no tuition, with an exception for master’s programmes delivered through the Wildau Institute of Technology graduate school. All enrolled students nevertheless pay a semester contribution. For direct-study programmes, the published contribution for winter semester 2026/27 is EUR 376.80. Part-time or continuing-education study may use a different fee schedule, and students should check the relevant programme before budgeting. Housing is a separate expense.
