How Admissions Work

Admission is program- and applicant-specific. Applicants need the appropriate German university entrance qualification or an accepted international equivalent; master’s programs additionally set prior-degree and subject requirements. International applicants generally submit school certificates and transcripts, translations into German or English where required, relevant previous university records, and language evidence through the route specified by the university. The international application period through uni-assist or EduApplication is 1 April–15 July 2026. Psychology and the state-examination education program require initial registration through Hochschulstart’s DoSV process. Several named international master’s programs use EduApplication rather than uni-assist, so candidates must follow their program page. German-taught programs require approved German-language evidence. Student Life & Environment
