Student Life & Environment

Student life is spread across multiple campuses rather than centred on one residential complex. The Notre Dame and Exchange District campuses provide libraries, computer labs, student lounges, food outlets and recreation spaces, while facilities at specialized and regional sites vary. Students should evaluate the campus attached to their program before relying on institution-wide descriptions of services or amenities. RRC Polytech provides academic advising, accessibility accommodations, confidential counselling, tutoring and career support. Indigenous Student Supports includes Elders-in-Residence, academic and navigation coaching, counselling, and admissions, employment and financial-aid advising. Student Service Centres at Notre Dame and Exchange District act as contact points for administrative questions and identification cards. The institution’s residence is located at the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute in Winnipeg’s downtown Exchange District. It offers furnished room options and communal spaces, but it is not located beside every Winnipeg program. Students based at Notre Dame, Stevenson Airport or another location should include commuting time in their housing decision. RRC Polytech’s principal operations are in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but the institution is not confined to one campus. Notre Dame Campus, near Winnipeg’s airport, is the largest location and has transit access and on-site parking. It houses many programs in engineering technologies, health sciences, skilled trades, transportation and community services. Stevenson Airport serves aviation- and aerospace-related training. The Exchange District Campus occupies several buildings in Winnipeg’s historic downtown. The Roblin Centre hosts many business, information technology and creative-arts programs, while the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute houses culinary and hospitality instruction as well as the student residence. Downtown transit access is convenient, but RRC Polytech does not operate an Exchange District parking lot, so commuting choices deserve attention. Regional campuses extend programming to communities including Portage la Prairie, Steinbach and Winkler, among others. These locations can offer access closer to home, but their program selection and facilities are more limited than Winnipeg’s. Costs & Career Outcomes

RRC Polytech does not publish one institution-wide tuition figure that accurately represents every student. Tuition and program-specific costs vary by credential, course load, intake and residency status, and the institution warns that listed fees may change. Applicants should use the current catalogue entry for their program and budget separately for compulsory fees, supplies, equipment, transportation and any placement-related expenses. As of August 2026, the general fees page lists a non-refundable application fee of CAD 122 for domestic applicants and CAD 160 for international applicants. For 2026–27, approximate Exchange District residence charges range from CAD 1,969.48 for a budget quad to CAD 3,655.44 for a premium single for the 16-week fall term. The corresponding 16-week winter amounts range from CAD 2,088.20 to CAD 3,878.60. These figures exclude the CAD 50 application fee and generally applicable CAD 350 deposit; individual contracts are prorated, and fees for academic breaks are additional. Career preparation is embedded through applied instruction and, where specified, co-op, internships, field placements or professional practice.
