Student Life & Environment

The Sanxia campus is NTPU’s main residential setting. Official housing material describes four dormitory buildings around Roman Square, with two-, three-, and four-person suites. Location & Surroundings

The database city value of New Taipei is therefore appropriate for the university headquarters and main campus. The university also maintains a Taipei campus at 67, Section 3, Minsheng East Road in Zhongshan District. This urban site is materially separate from Sanxia. Students should check the location of their department, required courses, housing, and administrative appointments before planning a commute; the presence of a Taipei address does not mean that a Sanxia-based program is located in central Taipei. Sanxia lies within the wider Taipei metropolitan region, giving students access to the capital region while retaining a residential campus base. Daily convenience and travel time will depend on the chosen accommodation and transport connection. International students comparing housing should therefore weigh on-campus availability against private accommodation and the commute to the campus where most of their classes are scheduled.

Costs & Career Outcomes

NTPU publishes fees by academic level and subject grouping rather than one universal tuition figure. The spring 2026 international brochure stated that its displayed tuition reference figures applied to one semester in 2025 and that fees could be adjusted annually. It listed undergraduate semester tuition from TWD 45,691 to TWD 52,668 across the displayed groupings. Graduate study used a basic semester charge plus per-credit fees, with the basic amount varying by field.
