Ningxia University’s legal address is 489 West Helanshan Road in Yinchuan’s Xixia District. Most named campuses are in Yinchuan: Helanshan, Huaiyuan, Wencui and Shuofang are in Xixia District, while Jinfeng Campus is in Jinfeng District. Zhongwei Campus is in Shapotou District of Zhongwei, a separate city. The university also maintains an agricultural teaching and experimental site in Yongning County. Yinchuan is the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, placing students in the region’s principal administrative and educational center. The multi-campus structure is the most important practical location consideration. A program assigned to Zhongwei will offer a materially different setting from one based at the main Yinchuan sites, while even Yinchuan campuses have separate addresses. Applicants should verify the teaching campus, residence location and any cross-campus requirements in their offer materials.
