Östersund lies northwest of Sundsvall, near Lake Storsjön and the mountain region toward Åre. Its campus is a short walk from the central shopping street. Costs & Career Outcomes

Swedish citizens and citizens of EU/EEA countries or Switzerland do not pay tuition at Mid Sweden University. Students participating through an official exchange agreement are also exempt regardless of citizenship. Other international students generally pay tuition, with the amount varying by programme and study level.
