Every engineering student starts at Paris-Saclay, but second- and third-year study may take place in Bordeaux or Saint-Étienne. Applicants should therefore consider potential relocation, housing and travel costs over the full program rather than evaluating Palaiseau alone.

Costs & Career Outcomes

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the official student guide lists engineering-cycle tuition of €3,200 for European students and €5,000 for other students under student status. CROUS scholarship recipients are charged on a sliding scale from €1,280 to €2,400 according to scholarship level. The guide states that apprenticeship students are reimbursed for tuition. These figures concern the engineering program and should not be transferred to partner master’s, doctoral or exchange arrangements without checking the relevant program.
