Student Life & Environment

The Lucknow campus is designed around residential study. IIM Lucknow reports housing capacity for more than 1,000 students and describes the campus as covering more than 200 acres. It also describes a need-based IIM Lucknow scholarship open to eligible students based on total gross family income, subject to announced criteria, academic progress and a rule that a student may not hold more than one scholarship. Central, state and other external scholarships may also be available. For comparison, the 2026–28 PGPWE lists tuition and covered academic services at INR 1,100,000, plus a refundable INR 10,000 caution deposit, INR 5,000 alumni fee and applicable taxes. Its mandatory international immersion is additional, and the program is non-residential. The 2026–28 blended MBA lists a total fee of INR 1,500,000 and states that IIM Lucknow offers no direct financial aid for that program. IPMX for 2027–28 lists INR 2,600,000, plus refundable caution and alumni charges; basic accommodation, meals and specified overseas-module costs are included, but airfare and incidentals are not. Career support also varies. IIM Lucknow publishes program-specific placement reports rather than one institute-wide outcome.
