Students should not assume that receiving an academic offer includes a hostel place. The hostels have student-run cooperative messes supervised through the warden system. However, its displayed monetary hostel and mess figures are explicitly dated 2015–16 and should not be used for 2026 budgeting. Academic life is supported by the Prof. M. M. ICT’s main campus is on Nathalal Parekh Marg in Matunga, Mumbai, with the official address using postal code 400019. Matunga is within Mumbai’s dense central urban area, so the setting differs from a self-contained suburban or rural campus. Students should plan for daily life in a major metropolitan environment and investigate commuting time, private accommodation and living expenses if a hostel place is unavailable. The Mumbai location is the university’s historic base and should not be confused with ICT’s authorized off-campus centres at Bhubaneswar and Marathwada, Jalna. The 2026–27 master’s notice separates programs by campus, meaning that a program associated with ICT is not necessarily taught in Mumbai. Applicants should verify the campus name on the program table, application and admission offer before making travel or housing arrangements. For prospective students, the location’s practical advantage is access to the wider educational and industrial environment of Mumbai. The tradeoff is that housing capacity on campus is limited and the university has not published a verified current estimate of off-campus living costs. ICT does not present one universal cost because charges differ by degree, category, campus and housing status. A June 2026 Mumbai counselling notice stated a first-year payable amount of INR 108,130 for the master’s programs covered by that round, across open and reserved categories, with no part payment. This figure should not be generalized to undergraduate, doctoral, MBA, biotechnology-score-based or off-campus programs. The 2026–27 master’s application fee was INR 2,000 for open-category applicants and INR 1,000 for reserved-category applicants for each program application, excluding possible online charges.
