The stated master’s deadline for EEA applicants was 15 August. Applicants had to satisfy admission conditions and arrange tuition payment by 31 August for a 1 September start. Programme-specific deadlines and selective programmes can differ and take precedence. English-language evidence is not governed by one database-wide minimum. Requirements depend on the programme, diploma and country of education, and THUAS may request a language test even where a diploma comes from an English-language education system if schooling occurred in a non-English-speaking country. Student life is spread across several locations rather than concentrated on one residential campus. The main site in The Hague provides the broadest institutional setting, while students in Delft, Zoetermeer, Zuiderpark or the Poseidon building should assess the facilities and commuting pattern of their assigned location. THUAS lists a Study & Career Centre that supports prospective students with study choice and current students with study or career questions, assessments, workshops and advice. THUAS specifically suggests widening accommodation searches to nearby places such as Rijswijk, Voorburg and Delft. This can improve the search radius but may add commuting time. The Hague also faces a substantial student-housing shortage, so proximity to a campus should not be assumed even when an applicant uses the university’s housing service.

Costs & Career Outcomes

For 2026/27, THUAS lists a statutory tuition fee of €2,694 and a regular institutional fee of €10,528 for covered associate, bachelor’s and state-funded master’s programmes. A €14,000 institutional fee applies to full-time English-taught master’s programmes for students required to pay the institutional rate, subject to the stated transitional exception for students who began before 2026/27. Fee eligibility depends on nationality or residence status, previous Dutch higher-education qualifications and the programme. Applicants should use the official calculator because the lower statutory rate is not determined simply by being European or studying a bachelor’s degree. Students needing THUAS to arrange a Dutch study residence permit were asked to transfer a €26,000 package fee by 15 June 2026. This was not tuition alone: it covered first-year tuition, immigration charges and health insurance, while the remaining amount demonstrated required living funds and was to be returned after arrival into a Dutch bank account. Applicants should obtain the applicable intake’s instructions before paying. Accommodation adds substantial uncertainty. THUAS estimates private-market rent broadly at €500 to €1,000 per month and warns that affordable supply is limited. Books, insurance, food, transport and initial settlement costs also need a separate budget. University housing carries a €275 service fee in addition to rent.
