Student Life & Environment

Student life is distributed across three main campuses rather than concentrated on one enclosed residential campus. The Student Association recognizes academic, cultural, recreational, social and advocacy-oriented clubs, and students can also apply to establish a new club. George Brown Polytechnic is based in Toronto, Ontario, with three main campuses in or near the downtown core. St. James Campus is on King Street East, Casa Loma Campus is north of downtown, and Waterfront Campus is beside Toronto's eastern waterfront.
