Location & Surroundings

The database associates FHNW with Basel, but the university is a multi-location institution across northwestern Switzerland. Its main locations include Brugg-Windisch in Aargau, Basel-area sites in Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, and Olten in Solothurn. Costs & Career Outcomes

Costs depend on the school, program and student’s residence category, so there is no safe single tuition figure for every FHNW applicant. The School of Life Sciences currently lists semester tuition of CHF 750 for specified Swiss or Swiss-domiciled categories, CHF 1,000 for students domiciled in the EU or EFTA at the start of study, and CHF 5,000 for other students.
