Student Life & Environment

Student services combine university-wide facilities with activities organized through faculties and student groups. The Slovak Economic Library supports teaching and research with print and electronic resources, study areas, lending, information services, and training. EUBA also lists university catering, career services, support for students with specific needs, psychological support information, and a student-volunteer Buddy program that helps students navigate university life and locate appropriate assistance. Representative and extracurricular groups include the EUBA Student Parliament, faculty student parliaments, AIESEC, Erasmus Student Network, and oikos Bratislava. Location & Surroundings

The main university campus is on Dolnozemská cesta in Petržalka, a large district on the southern side of the Danube in Bratislava. EUBA’s campus history records the opening of its first major Petržalka teaching building in 1991 and a second in 1996. The Dolnozemská university area brings core teaching and student services together, while official transport information for the nearby dormitory identifies direct public-transport connections toward the Mlynské nivy bus station and links toward Bratislava’s main railway station. Studying in Bratislava places students in Slovakia’s capital and its principal center of government, finance, international organizations, and corporate activity. This setting is particularly relevant to a university focused on economics, management, commerce, finance, and international relations. Students should nevertheless distinguish the university’s locations carefully. Six faculties are situated in Bratislava, but the Faculty of Business Economics has its seat in Košice, and the program register also identifies offerings in Michalovce. A program attached to that faculty should not be assumed to take place at the Bratislava campus. Dormitories are similarly distributed across several Bratislava addresses, with an additional residence in Košice.

Costs & Career Outcomes

The official 2026/2027 fee regulation does not support treating EUBA as having one universal tuition price. Tuition liability depends on study form, teaching language, degree level, and whether a student exceeds the standard study length. The university states that annual tuition applies to part-time study, study beyond the standard duration, and full-time study conducted in a language other than Slovak. For 2026/2027, listed annual tuition for standard-length part-time study is €720 at bachelor’s and master’s level and €1,500 at doctoral level, with exceptions including Economics and Law. Listed English-language program tuition includes €1,500 for specified bachelor’s programs, €2,500 for specified master’s programs, and €3,500 for part-time doctoral study in English. These figures apply only to the categories and programs named in the regulation; applicants should verify their exact program before budgeting. Admission-procedure charges are separate. Living expenses, meals, transport, insurance, and accommodation are not included in these tuition figures. Dormitory charges are governed by a separate accommodation directive and paid monthly in advance for 2026/2027. Career support is offered through EUBA’s Career Center, which publishes jobs, internships, temporary work, competitions, and development opportunities. The university also organized a Job Fair on 17 March 2026 to connect students and recent graduates with employers and trainee opportunities. These services provide access to employers but do not guarantee placement, salary, or a particular career outcome. Program choice, teaching language, practical experience, and work authorization remain important individual considerations.
