For the Fall 2026 cycle, the published deadlines were January 15 for early admission, April 30 for regular admission, and June 1 for rolling admission where capacity remained. Because these dates have passed as of August 20, 2026, future applicants must use the admissions site for the next cycle rather than treating them as active deadlines. A complete undergraduate application generally includes school records and proof of graduation, identity documents, a photograph, and a 20,000 AMD nonrefundable fee. Applicants normally demonstrate English proficiency through TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, SAT English, ACT English, or an approved waiver. Mathematics proficiency is normally shown through SAT or ACT results, although Nursing applicants in the Fall 2026 cycle were not required to provide it. International and diaspora applicants who receive an AUA offer must also obtain final approval through Armenia’s centralized state admissions platform before enrollment becomes official. Graduate applications are submitted online and assessed competitively. The Fall 2026 deadlines were January 15, March 31, and, where available, June 1. AUA’s current undergraduate portfolio comprises nine bachelor’s programs: Business, English and Communications, Politics and Governance, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering Sciences, Nursing, Environmental and Sustainability Sciences, and Economics. At graduate level, AUA lists twelve master’s programs. Student Life & Environment

Student life combines organized clubs, transition support, academic assistance, career programming, and a small university residence. For 2025–26, officially approved clubs included technology, music, drama, science, chess, volleyball, hiking, cultural-interest groups, and a global-affairs society. Students may join existing organizations or propose a new club during the annual application period, and the Office of Student Affairs organizes a club fair. First-year undergraduates can participate in a peer-mentoring program that pairs new students with experienced undergraduates during orientation. Other services listed by Student Affairs include counseling, disability support, international-student support, and math and writing assistance. These services make the campus more navigable, but applicants who need a particular accommodation should discuss arrangements with the relevant office before enrolling. The Mashikian Student Residence Hall is in Yerevan’s Dzoragyugh district, approximately a 25-minute walk from campus. It contains 28 double-occupancy rooms and can house up to 56 students, so it should not be assumed that every applicant will receive university housing. Rooms have private bathrooms, refrigerators, heating and cooling, while shared facilities include a kitchen, lounge, study room, laundry, wireless internet, and balconies. Priority consideration goes to international students and students from outside Yerevan; confirmed residents sign a separate service contract.

Location & Surroundings

AUA’s main campus is located at 40 Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital. This is an urban university rather than a self-contained residential campus, so daily life is closely connected to the city. The main building contains teaching and student facilities, including a cafeteria, while other university activities and services operate from associated campus buildings. The Mashikian Student Residence is not on the main academic site. It is located in Dzoragyugh, overlooking the Hrazdan gorge and river, and the university estimates the walk to campus at about 25 minutes. Its limited capacity means many students, particularly those already based in Yerevan, will need to commute from family or privately rented accommodation. One current campus-specific exception is the Master of Science in Economics, which AUA describes as being based in Dilijan, with preparatory summer courses potentially held in Yerevan. Graduate applicants should therefore verify the teaching location of their exact program rather than assuming that every course is delivered at the Baghramyan Avenue campus.

Costs & Career Outcomes

For the Fall 2026 undergraduate cycle, annual tuition before additional aid was 2,950,000 AMD for Business or Economics and 2,450,000 AMD for other bachelor’s programs for Armenian citizens, eligible ethnic Armenians, and Armenian Special Passport holders. Corresponding international rates were 4,950,000 AMD and 4,450,000 AMD. A 25,000 AMD annual student-services fee applied. International students physically studying in Armenia also had to provide health-insurance evidence; AUA quoted approximately 10,000 AMD per month if coverage was arranged through its provider. The university states that eligible Armenian-classified undergraduates receive an automatic subsidy already reflected in those rates, while Armenian citizens may seek additional need-based assistance. International undergraduates may compete for merit scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition. Financial-aid applications must be filed alongside the admission application, not after admission. Graduate tuition is program- and classification-specific; applicants should use the current graduate fee table for their intended entry year rather than extrapolate from undergraduate rates. Published residence prices are preliminary and subject to change. They range from 85,000 AMD per month for a double room without a balcony to 170,000 AMD for single occupancy with a balcony, including utilities, internet, and taxes. A one-month deposit is required. Career Services offers individual advising, résumé and interview support, internship and job connections, employer events, and career fairs. The 2026 fair brought 50 companies and organizations to campus, indicating active employer engagement without guaranteeing placement or salary outcomes.
