Students seeking frequent access to large-city entertainment, extensive public transit, or a dense off-campus employment market should examine transportation carefully. The college operates a River Runner shuttle, but applicants should verify its current schedule and destinations rather than assume it replaces having a car. Naval Air Station Patuxent River and associated organizations provide a notable regional connection for internships and careers, particularly in STEM, business, and national defense.
