For Fall 2026 first-year B.Arch admission, SCI-Arc listed a January 15, 2026 priority deadline. Applications submitted later were considered on a rolling, space-available basis. Because that date has passed and a later cycle was not yet published in the reviewed material, future applicants should confirm the relevant deadline directly rather than reuse the 2026 date. First-year applicants could apply through SCI-Arc’s application or the Common Application. Required materials included a personal statement, recommendation information, high-school transcripts, and an $85 nonrefundable application fee. The SCI-Arc supplement applied to Common Application submissions. A creative portfolio was optional, and architectural work was not required. SAT or ACT scores were also optional. Eligible domestic applicants could request an application-fee waiver through a school counselor. Applicants educated outside the United States were required to obtain a course-by-course transcript evaluation from a NACES-member organization. Applicants whose prior institution did not primarily teach in English had to submit an official TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo score. These are specialized postgraduate degrees rather than substitutes for the professionally accredited architecture degrees. Student Life & Environment

Student life is closely tied to SCI-Arc’s open studios and architecture-focused community. For 2026–2027, SCI-Arc published tuition of $29,505 per semester plus an administrative fee, student union fee, and lab fee, bringing billed tuition and standard fees to $30,305 per semester. The school estimated total tuition, fees, and other expenses at $46,345 per semester for an unmarried student over four months. That estimate included course materials, room and board, transportation, loan fees, meals, miscellaneous costs, and estimated annual health insurance. Travel to and from California was excluded. Degree-seeking students must maintain health insurance. SCI-Arc estimated its annual plan at $3,260 for 2026–2027, subject to change, and allowed a waiver with proof of comparable coverage.
