Student life differs by academic location. Omiya is the base for Engineering and Intellectual Property and includes dining, independent-study space, and the Language Learning Center. Umeda houses Robotics and Design in a high-rise urban campus with a learning commons and top-floor restaurant. Location & Surroundings

OIT operates three academically distinct campuses in Osaka Prefecture. Omiya Campus is at 5-16-1 Omiya, Asahi-ku, Osaka and hosts the Faculty and Graduate School of Engineering plus undergraduate and graduate Intellectual Property. It lies beside the Yodo River area and near Shirokita Park, offering a less central setting than Umeda while remaining within Osaka city. Umeda Campus is at 1-45 Chayamachi, Kita-ku, Osaka. It houses the Faculty and Graduate School of Robotics and Design in the OIT Umeda Tower, close to the major Osaka/Umeda rail district. This is the most central of the three sites and places students near extensive rail connections, shops, and other city services. Hirakata Campus is at 1-79-1 Kitayama, Hirakata City and contains the Faculty and Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. Official access information describes connections involving JR or Keihan rail services followed by bus travel, so its commute differs substantially from the city-centre Umeda experience. The International House is near Noe Station in Osaka and about three kilometres from Omiya Campus. Applicants should plan housing and travel around their assigned faculty because routine cross-campus travel may be inconvenient.

For students entering in 2027, published first-year undergraduate charges vary by faculty. Engineering and Information Science and Technology each list JPY 1,630,000 for the first year, including a JPY 200,000 admission fee.
