Admissions are program-specific. For the English-taught Medicine and Surgery and MEDTEC programs, Humanitas used an online competitive admission test for 2026/2027. Candidates could compete for either program or both, and the university offered two test rounds on 5–6 March and 18–20 March 2026. For 2026/2027, the published course information lists 200 places: 150 for EU-category applicants and 50 for non-EU applicants, subject to the applicable admissions rules and ministerial confirmation. MEDTEC is also an English-taught, six-year route. It combines medical training at Humanitas with biomedical-engineering study developed with Politecnico di Milano. Health-professions courses follow a different pattern: the university presents five three-year programs taught in Italian, including Nursing, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, and Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques. This structure suits students seeking a concentrated health-sciences environment. It is less appropriate for applicants who want broad elective access across humanities, business or unrelated sciences. Student life is organized around a compact health-sciences campus rather than a conventional city-center university district. The university, hospital, research center and Mario Luzzatto Student House are within walking distance of one another. For Medicine and Surgery in 2026/2027, published annual tuition is income-related for EU-category students. The four listed amounts are €10,206, €15,206, €19,206 and €23,206, determined through the university’s ISEP calculation. Non-EU tuition is €23,206 per year. These figures cover the course but exclude accommodation, food, books and other services. Program-specific rules apply elsewhere; applicants should not assume that medicine fees also apply to health-professions, master’s or doctoral study. The university publishes merit-based tuition waivers for medical-school entrants. For 2026/2027, conditions differ between Medicine and MEDTEC and between EU and non-EU categories. Awards depend on factors specified in the scholarship regulations, including entrance-ranking position and, for some awards, school performance or financial documentation.
