Housing is available through several arrangements. The university describes Antara Residence, approximately one kilometre from campus, alongside options in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. It directly manages accommodation at Kanvas SOHO and works with a third-party provider at Shaftsbury RYO Putrajaya. Some residences are around a 10–15 minute drive from campus, and shuttle transport is available on specified routes. Utilities may be charged separately from rent, making the advertised room price an incomplete measure of living cost. This arrangement can suit students who prefer apartment-style living and access to a planned administrative city. It also requires more attention to commuting and lease details than a traditional all-in-one residential campus. Before booking, students should compare room type, provider, deposits, utility liability, shuttle eligibility, tenancy length, and cancellation terms.

Location & Surroundings

The campus is at No. 1 Jalan Venna P5/2, Precinct 5, Putrajaya, Malaysia’s federal administrative capital. Its lakeside setting is near Putrajaya Marina and public leisure areas, giving the campus a quieter, planned-city environment rather than a central Kuala Lumpur location. Kuala Lumpur International Airport is about 25 kilometres away according to the university. Putrajaya Sentral is the principal local interchange for express rail and buses. The university’s transport information describes campus links involving shuttles, public transport, and the MyRapid KL T511 route to the Heriot-Watt University Malaysia bus stop. It also reports services connecting students with selected MRT and LRT stations. Some residence shuttles are restricted to occupants of the associated accommodation provider, and schedules are distributed periodically. Prospective students should test the journey from any intended residence at the times they expect to travel. Access to Kuala Lumpur is possible, but daily convenience depends heavily on proximity to Putrajaya Sentral, shuttle eligibility, and the timetable. For 2026/2027, tuition varies substantially by program and residency status. Published annual local undergraduate fees include RM39,300 for several business degrees, RM41,160 for computing-related degrees, and higher amounts for selected science or engineering programs. International rates are higher; for example, the same fee table lists RM51,007.20 for several business awards and RM51,304 for computing programs. These examples are decision aids, not substitutes for the fee attached to an applicant’s exact course. Foundation, taught-postgraduate, MBA, and PhD charges use separate schedules. The university states that fees may change and are payable in advance of the semester. Non-Malaysian students are also subject to a 6% service tax under rules effective from 1 July 2025.
